Behind The Uniform

A photography project in the making about IDF soldiers. In addition to the fact that the project deals with the army, with the soldier as an individual and with the Israeli nature, it's main focus is "photographer-photographed relations" and The dialogue that takes place above and below the surface. Sometimes the way the photographer sees the photographed is different from the way the photographed want to appear. The interaction between them creates interesting and surprising opportunities. In addition, the project aims to point out other issues such as: ways to stand out in a system that suppresses uniqueness, The individual outside the group, Personality definition, and more... This photo series was taken using a medium 6x7 analog format, using a tripod and natural light only.
