Self-portrait - "me and mom"

Japan, a country that has profoundly influenced my artistic journey during two significant visits. The first trip was with my wife, to celebrate our honeymoon. This journey, which began with excitement and anticipation, took an unexpected turn when we witnessed the dramatic events that unfolded in October. As a result, we returned to Israel and the trip was abruptly ended. In my second visit, I traveled with my mother after a challenging year of conflict and commitment. My mom suggested we fly to Japan again, so I could get closure. In both journeys, my favorite experience was "chasing frames" - On two separate trips, with the two most important women in my life, we wandered through enchanting paths, with the central goal of capturing moments of magic through the lens of my camera. While the first visit allowed us to discover enjoyment and beauty along the way, the second trip transformed into a personal and meaningful mission of a more personal need, where I sought refuge and restoration through photography.
